So, when there is breaking news which may impact your automobile driving and, most importantly, your health and welfare, we address it. Such as the following from the 5/4/20 edition of “The Week” magazine:
In California, “…while overall traffic levels are down 35% from last year due to a stay-at-home order, the number of speeding tickets for driving faster than 100 mph has increased by 87%, with one motorist caught doing 165 mph. Commissioner Warren Stanley warned that higher speeds can ‘significantly increase the chance of death should a crash occur.'”
Though common sense certainly dictates such a conclusion, and though these are statistics from California, I, and most likely you, have probably noticed the same phenomenon in and around Knoxville on its streets and highways.
Bottom Line: Please remain extra cautious, always wear your seat belt, don’t fall prey to the temptation to text while driving ( i.e., keep both hands on the steering wheel and your eyes on the road), and please call us for a free consultation should you be a victim of a reckless driver.
