Knoxville’s Channel 10 News released an alarming set of statistics last night for Tennessee motorists.
Tennessee ranks 2nd nationally for having the worst drivers. Combine that with its ranking 5th in number of uninsured drivers and top that off with its ranking 19th in DUI arrests and, well…
Bottom Line: If you’re a Tennessee driver, for your own sake and others, you’d best be fully attentive when behind the wheel of an automobile. That means no texting or eating or straightening up junior’s restraint seat while driving. You might even be advised to avoid that Bluetooth or remote communication device in your car, which is touted as a safer option, but which can also be very distracting.
Because you cannot imagine how many DUD (driving under distraction) car wrecks we see in our office on a weekly basis.
So, be careful and, if you don’t have car insurance with higher than the lowest limits on your policy, please call your insurance agent today.
Because in Tennessee, according to the frightening statistics stated above, you’re taking your life in your hands every time you drive a car. We don’t want you to be a DUD victim.
And because you matter to us.
