Do you ride bicycles for pleasure or for serious training to compete?
Whatever your motive, the G3helpme team cautions you to ride carefully and in safe places according to the rules of the road. All bicyclists are required to obey the same traffic laws as those which govern cars and trucks.
Do you realize that 2-3 bicyclists are killed DAILY! on American streets and highways. That’s daily!
Many of you know that I raced bicycles all over America and in Europe at the highest competitive Masters levels for 10 years. That required a lot of hours and miles training and racing on the road. One of our bicyclist’s creeds was “It’s not if, but when you’ll have an injurious wreck.” My wife accompanied me to the ER 7 times with serious injuries of broken bones, concussions, separated shoulders and lots of road rash. Every one of my ER visits involved a motor vehicle and bicycle encounter, none of which were caused by my being reckless or careless.
So, if you enjoy riding bicycles, please take heed to my painfully experienced advice: Be wise and careful.
Our G3 Team has legally represented several bicyclists against motor vehicle wrecks. We don’t want you to be the next one.
